The Next Frontier of Wash/Dry/Fold
The wash/dry/fold segment has become one of the fastest-growing revenue streams in the laundromat industry — and the data explains why. According to industry reports, pickup and delivery orders average nearly $80 per transaction, roughly 80% higher than standard drop-off orders. Customers aren’t just willing to outsource their laundry. They’re willing to pay a premium for the experience to feel effortless.
High Mark Manufacturing built Laundry Lockers to meet that expectation — and to push it further than the industry had gone before.
The automated locker system, developed through High Mark’s subsidiary Laundry Lockers, removes the last remaining friction points from the WDF transaction. Customers drop off laundry on their schedule. The system handles the logistics. A locker delivers the finished order when it’s ready — no coordination required, no window to coordinate, no staff handoff necessary. For operators, it means offering a premium service without the operational overhead that typically comes with it.
The innovation isn’t just the hardware. It’s the platform behind it. This year, High Mark is overseeing significant refinements to the app that drives the locker system — sharpening the customer experience on the front end while simplifying management on the back end. In August 2025, the company expanded its reach through a partnership with CleanCloud, one of the laundry industry’s leading all-in-one POS platforms. The integration allows operators to manage locker orders alongside their full business operation without adding complexity.
The geographic ambitions match the technology. High Mark is actively expanding Laundry Lockers into a growing number of domestic markets, with international expansion in its sights as well.
In a segment defined by convenience, the operators who win will be the ones who make the experience feel most seamless. Automated lockers, refined software and integrated platforms are how High Mark is making that case — one market at a time.
